It’s not about the camera.

With today’s technology, the snap of any shutter can result in a pretty picture. But creating images that captures a person or brand’s authentic presence isn’t about technical skill as much as it is about human connection.

I am a storyteller, a marketer and a problem solver. Before I became a photographer, I spent 17 years as the owner of a PR & marketing firm, securing my clients coverage by high-profile media including The Today Show, Oprah, The Wall St Journal, and USA Today, among others.

My job then – as it is now – is to identify and sell what made my clients stand out from the crowd. On the back-end of my business, I leverage my past experience booking photographers to streamline the scheduling, shooting, billing and delivery process. I want to make my client’s lives easier and the photography process both quick and enjoyable.

Today, my trusty Nikon is my tool of choice for telling stories — stories which I’ve studied prior to each session so I can create a library of photos that stand out, grab attention and inspire action.

When I’m not on location helping my clients craft contemporary, branded images to help grow their bottom line, I’m happily photographing people and products in my bright and (often) sunny studio on Oregon City’s Main Street.

I laugh a lot. I’m living my dream. And I love creating a safe, relaxing and FUN experience for every person who steps in front of my lens.

I hope we have a chance to collaborate, create and laugh together soon.
